It doesn’t always have to be the ultimate – those who prefer it down-to-earth are right on the mark in the Gourmet Inn. Here you’ll find traditional specialities with a modern twist and regional influences, prepared mainly with local produce, including game from the Karwendel region or premium fish from the crystal-clear waters of the “Ducal Kreuth fish farm”. The icing on the cake during your stay in the Gourmet Hotel Alpin is our generous breakfast buffet.

Breakfast

When staying in our Gourmet Hotel Alpin you can look forward not only to a greeting from kitchen & cellar, but also to a daily ample and varied gourmet breakfast with home-made jam or honey, muesli corner, fresh fruit, various fresh juices, freshly prepared egg dishes and free-range eggs by the Thumer family (resident in Steinberg) as well as a large selection of home-cooked products and culinary gems from local farmers.

Half board

If you have booked our half board, you can enjoy a multi-course dinner menu with specialities. Take a seat in our spacious restaurant or our comfortable winter garden, which also serves as a sun terrace. Here you’ll find Austrian treats, fine dishes from natural cuisine, vegetarian choices and, of course, also international specialities.

In the Gault&Millau 2023 the two top chefs Alexander and Armin Gründler were awarded 4 Toques for Gründler’s Gourmet Parlour.
