In our family-run establishment, culinary art takes centre stage. You can choose between the Gourmet Inn with traditional specialities served with a modern twist and the creative “Alpin-aroma kitchen” in Gründler’s Gourmet Parlour, where the focus is on creations with venison, merino sheep and fish from the Lake Achensee region.
Hotel
Our 4-Star-Hotel features 24 rooms and suites, all with balcony, offering all the amenities for a comfortable stay. Our small but excellent “Alpinaria” wellness zone boasts a Finnish sauna, sanarium, two infrared cabins, a massage and relaxation room. Further highlights include an idyllic hotel garden and the very spacious winter garden in modern design, which can be converted into an open-air sun terrace and beckons to relax with unobstructed views.
The inspectors of the new Guide Gault&Millau 2023 were impressed by all aspects of our two restaurants: “Gründler’s Gourmet Parlour is just one side. The other is a wonderful, slow-food-oriented inn. Both magnificent, and each with its very clear, own profile. Whereby the Gourmet Parlour – and rightly so – is the culinary poster child!“ (Quote Gault&MIllau Guide 2023). In the Gault&Millau 2023 the two top chefs Alexander and Armin Gründler were awarded 4 Toques for Gründler’s Gourmet Parlour. Since 2013 they have been members of JRE Austria, are among the ranks of Gourmet Hotels Austria and have been on the list of 100 Best Chefs Austria since 2020.
